Curt Gowdy State Park

Curt Gowdy State Park is a beautiful place to enjoy the quiet serenity of Southern Wyoming. There are a variety of camping options with quite a few places that are first come first serve. We booked ahead and got a super spacious spot with water and electricity overlooking the reservoir. There are also miles of hiking trails including the popular “hidden falls” trail. Curt Gowdy is a destination spot for biking enthusiasts who are eager to ride the IMBA rated 19.2 loop track. This park also offers one of the area’s largest archery rages. We managed to grab our spot as a simple overnight as we were traveling through but would definitely come back when we are in the area.
