Pictured Rocks National Seashore
Waterfalls and A Lakeshore Cruise
On our must list of things to do was Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore.
At Pictured Rocks we did 2 things, we explored the park by truck to see the waterfalls and we explored by boat to see the lakeshore.
For our waterfall tour we headed toward Grand Marais and hiked to Sable Falls. Sable Falls is totally worth the drive. Located right outside of Grand Marias, this waterfall has easy parking, and a quick .33 miles round trip. However there are 168 stairs to the bottom of the falls. Totally worth the effort. We came back toward Munising and hiked Miners Falls. This is a 1.2 miles round trip, fairly flat out to the stairs to the beautiful waterfall. Located right outside of Munising, this is a quick quarter mile round-trip on a very nice trail and boardwalk. The waterfall is beautiful and this is totally worth the stop.
We chose to do the sunset cruise to that included Spray Falls. We watched the weather and were able to book our tickets at the last minute. We highly recommend this cruise that includes the full trip out to Spray Falls.
