Hug Point State Recreation Site

For, us, this beach was the cause of much road rage energy. We tried to get in on a Sunday in August and the lines for the parking lot were backed up down the road. We tried again on a week day and the lines were still long and the energy was angry with people trying to grab the spots. We finally managed to get a parking place and made our way to the beach. This beach is great for people wanting to have some real "beachy" time. The soft sand is nice. We however decided to climb up out of the beach and up to the lookouts above. The views are nice but for our time, we preferred to avoid the traffice and crowds and enjoy some of the other dramatic views down the road.
