Alfred A Loeb State Park

Oregon Measures Their Sites To The Inch!

This was our first stop in Oregon. This is where we learned that at Oregon State Parks, when they state a footage for the site, they mean it down to the inch. Our 43 foot site was very tight for our 43 foot fifth wheel.  That being said, we managed to get ourselves in and really enjoyed our days at this park. It was a nice setting for our day trips along the southern oregon coastline. There is no dump station at the park and the sites do not have sewer hook ups. However there is a FREE dump station at the rest stop off of 101 in Brookings.

The park is located along the river and a popular activity is canoeing, kayaking or paddleboarding. This is a very family friendly place to visit.
