The Village at Highlands Ranch

Looking Up At Lassen Volcanic National Park

Located about 15 minutes from the southern entrance to Lassen Volcanic National Park, we considered The Village at Highlands Ranch to be a great choice for the area.

We booked early and were able to secure a full hook up site. Our site, A6 was very long and easily accommodated our 43’ 5th wheel and truck. The sites are a bit skinny and so we didn’t put out our mat and only opened our windows on the sides without neighbors.

We traveled to the park in late June and our first few days we had temperatures in the low 60’s during the day. By the last few days of June the temperatures were up in the upper 70’s.

There are also cabins and lodge available if you are traveling without a camper. There is a very nice restaurant across the street at the sister property and Frank’s Bistro is a delicious smelling option right next to the RV spots.

If we are in the area again, this is the only place we would stay.
