Chinook RV Resort

Not a "Resort" By Any Standard

When we first arrived shortly after 5 PM on check-in day, we went to the office, but it was closed and there was no paperwork for us. I knew what my site was supposed to be so we set off to go check out the space. The sites are incredibly tight and our premium pull through had an overhead wire right next to it, which made it additionally difficult to get in.  All of the sites are full grass, but we were able to put down our mat so it was fine. There is a nice small river area that is pretty to overlook. In addition, if you walk over to the glamping pods and tents, there is beach access although it is really a rocky river access.

Part way during the day we had a homeless man park his tent next to us. As we were leaving, I ran to the restrooms, and the ladies was completely flooded, and there may have been fecal matter on the floor. As we were leaving the property, we noticed that a lot of RVs have scraped their stabilizers along the roadway going north. We decided to save our stabilizers and go south to the next property and do a quick U-turn where the shoulder was not such a steep incline. I would definitely not categorize this as a resort and we would not stay here again if we were in the area.
