Castle Crags State Park

Granite Spikes at 6000 Foot Elevation

Castle Crags State Park comes by it's name nautrally. With granite spikes shooting up into the sky at over 6000' elevation, this state park is an impressive addition to the California landscape. There are 28 miles of trails including part of the Pacific Crest Trail. We drove to the top and enjoyed the views. We also wandered the river access.
