Repairing An RV Solar Charge Indicator Dash Light

My customer had never seen his dash indicator light operate to confirm that his solar panel was charging his batteries on his Newmar Dutch Star Motor Coach.

This is a common problem with the dash indicator light. Rather than a light that just indicates on or off, I recommended and installed a monitor that showed the voltage that the solar panel was sending to the batteries.
